Horizons for Homeless Children provides high-quality early childhood education and care at no cost for children ages 2 months to 5 years old. Operating year-round from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Horizons has 3 sites: in Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and Dorchester. Our teachers are specially trained to address the unique circumstances that homeless children face. Horizons is a two-generational model that focuses on the growth of both children and parents, and our Family Advocates work closely with parents to support them in reaching goals ranging from financial literacy to educational and employment opportunities.
